Damn you Shinobi, live! Damn you, live! LIVE!

Ichi the Witch hitting a Cover and LCP this early into its run is a great achievement. Funny manga is funny and now that it's hit its stride (Kumugi my beloved), it's good to have Usazaki as a mainstay.

But I wonder

I feel like by this logic you could also call it a young Gojo JJK reference, just well-dressed person with circular glasses (not that I have a shot of him coyly tipping his glasses on hand, but I know he has).

In any case the concept is common enough that if this Roboco cover is any specific reference it’s not this Akane cover since the main commonality they share is not very exclusive to them at all.

I love the dude's work, but maybe he's doing it to polish his ear drawing skills. Like, look at his character's ears for a second. Something about it feels off.

Like I keep telling myself it doesn't bother me. But it bothers me. A lot. Still one of the few good axes though.

Good start for Astro 3, it's only behind the series is supposed to be, Yozakura and Mato Seihei no Slave, but Nue is the one that started surprisingly well lol

So… could Kiyoshi make it to the year mark? It continues to hold decent rankings, and if Hakutaku and possibly Shinobi go next round (very speculative on Shinobi), Yozakura Family and Undead Unluck end shortly after, and if Syd Craft flops (which based on its low J+ views is possible), I think it could happen. But who knows, perhaps it’s the copium talking Mag Talk - Weekly Shonen Jump (2025) - News and Discussion! (38)

Also LETS GO ICHI!!! It has been so good, I’m really enjoying the vibe of it. Seems like it’ll be a success which is exciting!

It's possible but that requires a lot of "Ifs" to happen.

Kiyoshi living doesn't really require a miracle. It sold fine for a first volume, not great or anything, but definitely enough for the ranks it's been getting lately with room to grow. There's a lot doing worse than it, especially in the ToC, and you also have Yoza and UU ending shortly.
